Timothy Haywood BDS DDS
Timothy Haywood qualified at Guy's Hospital in 1970. After a
House Surgeon's position at the Middlesex Hospital, he went to
Canada initially working as a "flying dentist" in Newfoundland and
Labrador. Subsequently he returned to Dental School at Dalhousie
University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and obtained his D.D.S.
degree.
Tim then spent several years in private practice in Fredericton,
New Brunswick. Returning to Britain he joined 33 Beaumont Street in
1978, working alongside Dr Malcolm Graham. He became principal of
the practice in 1986. He is a member of the British Dental
Association and is a member and former President of the American
Dental Society of London.
Dr Haywood practices general dentistry for all age groups
including children. One of his particular interests is preserving
and strengthening heavily filled teeth which would otherwise break.
This is often a problem for people in their middle years.
